Hi! I grew up just 60 minutes north of Seattle in Mount Vernon, WA. I was adopted from Columbia as a little baby and have been a PNW gal ever since.
I was first brought to Modo in 2015 by a dear friend, I had been feeling a call to explore a deeper connection to myself and this practice was exactly it, I had found home. After my Intro Month I hopped into the Energy Exchange program, landing in this incredible community I am forever grateful for.
I completed my Level 1 Modo Training July 2016 and let me tell ya, it was one of the most challenging + transformative times of my life. I was in fact terrified of public speaking but sharing this practice was something I felt moved to do, so I faced that fear + did it anyways.
I have since then completed Modo Flow training in 2017, The Art of Sequencing in 2018 with Dina Tsouluhas + joined the management team as Community Assistant Studio Manager in November 2018.
This practice has changed my life. It has changed the way to choose to see myself, others around me + how I move through life. We can tap into so much knowledge inside ourselves when we take the opportunity to slow down + listen. I am passionate about making everyone feel seen + sharing the tools to make yoga accessible to your unique body. I believe that body awareness + self acceptance are the key to our internal freedom. When we operate from a place of love, anything is possible. Alignment, breath + calming the mind lead to a sustainable life long practice that I believe we all deserve. It’s an honor to be in this community + I look forward to sharing this space with you.
