Karleen comes from a place of gratitude, Seattle from Spokane by way of UW entered into Moksha Seattle, a home away from home within a space and feeling of home for creative thought in art, fashion, lifestyle, 2004.
In November 2013 she became co-owner/creator of Moksha Seattle, with partner in art and crime, Robin Guilfoil. Together they create and hold space for art, fashion and lifestyle events in Seattle’s University District.
Moksha Seattle is a clothing boutique and art gallery on The Ave/University Way.
After graduating 2008 BS Biology, Karleen received her certification and training in Hatha Yoga and Power Vinyasa at her home studio in Spokane, Yarrow Hot Yoga & Wellness Studio, by former owner, Beth Galis and Baptiste Instructor, Rhea Slichter. She continues to learn and balance her passion for yoga by also teaching at Breathe Hot Yoga in Seattle’s Capitol Hill. She is grateful for the connections made between Moksha Seattle and MODO Yoga Seattle, both spaces for minds to expand, creative strengths to build, support each other’s dreams, and work in unison to discover one’s true potential.
