Modo Yoga is a dynamic system of postures and breathing exercises intended to be practiced in the heat. The series is cardiovascular, strengthening, and muscle toning while also calming the mind and reducing stress. The Modo class is a specially designed sequence, but there is no script. Depending on the instructor, you will feel something new and different each time! The postures, holds, and breathing cues in a Modo class allow you to deepen your practice and monitor your progress. Modifications are always encouraged so the practice fits your body.
The heat (set 99-100 degrees + 40-60% humidity) allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood, and muscles through sweat.
